Rene Laveau brings music and community into a new newsroom

An artist’s work, in context

Rene Laveau’s website now brings his music and the wider IX community into a shared editorial format. The new newsroom gives artist announcements and creative perspectives a dedicated home alongside the official music pages, live listings, and electronic press kit.

Rene is an Austin recording artist working across hip-hop and alternative rap, and the founder of The IX Network and a partner with Heaven On Earth. Animal remains a starting point for listeners exploring his recorded work. The music section offers the official listening links; the EPK provides a reference for press and professional inquiries.

Independent voices, connected

The network directory introduces artists, fashion labels, and creative studios through their own imagery and official websites. Opening features look at Hidden Camera Studios and Lanrete Alone, considering the relationship between music, visual work, and independent creative identity.

Sharing membership in the IX Network does not imply a commissioned project or a joint release. These pieces introduce the practices represented in the community and give readers a starting point for their own exploration.

Keep following the work

The Sacred Letter continues as Rene’s existing newsletter and writing archive. This newsroom complements that space with artist news and network features. Readers can move between the music, live listings, EPK, and partner directory, or join The IX Network for future updates.
